You have obtained this week, commentators meta (and inspired by our title).
In a thread of remarkable self-awareness, you high one-liners to the heights of lively comments on commenting in a whole culture standards. You could call it "trolling with a point." You could call it commenting on poetry in prose. But whatever you call it, we loved it.
Here is how it started:
Keep reading for the "[link to imgur]," "something of Zionist conspiracy" and most "off" topic filled commented on sensitive subject.
It is no coincidence that this comment thread in most-favorite of the week has been left on a history of Game of Thrones. This week has been the subject of Game of Thrones. We are frankly shocked that everyone could do any work done this week at all, what with the excitement of the new season begins Sunday (OMFG this Sunday!) on the horizon. We discussed which by anticipation of Game of Thrones , a part of our work-genius, right? To help you prepare for this premiere, WIRED offered recaps (in the form of words and emoji, just to cover our bases), a narrow investigates the secrets of official maps GoT Yelp reviews of the best and worst of Westerosand an angry rant.
While you had great things to say about the non -GoT content, it really was of those stories that makes us most proud of you this week, readers.
With regard to the review of the hostel at the crossroads, drive as andy Roekest said:
Surprised, no there was no mention of the rotting body regularly suspended from the tree outdoors. Surely for some bad reviews during the summer months when there were still flesh on the bones of the ol girl ', no?
Like most of us here, drive that showmemary could barely contain their excitement to the season 4. Reader Enticing Havoc, although clearly a fan of GoT , expressed concern that the show could continue too long, writes:
Without hesitation, I can say that the 9 seasons of GOT is well above a threshold of tolerable pain. As any show succumbs to an inept sequence of warmed when broadcast for so long.
Theory of the Big Bang, once an entertaining and hilarious show full of innuendo geekish became the epitome of an embarrassment.Dear Hollywood
Please don't torture the audience with 100,000 payments.
Mr Ralph F could not disagree more:
While normally, I agree with you, it is not really applicable in this case, in my opinion. It's a TV series based on real books. It has a story to tell and a history to the end, however several seasons, it is necessary to do it right. Sitcoms (and poorly written scenario, as 'Lost' TV) have really a destination that they seek, and so they bend eventually.
Game of Thrones highlighted the side more gentle some of you. What Cahuatijo player joked that they had zero to watch the season first with reader shmf intervened and offered friendship. AW, you guys.
OK, enough "Game of Thrones". Other stuff happened this week that you cared, too.
Comments on how the United States built more ridiculously precise atomic clock in the world, Alamanach stressed that, "metrologically speaking, would it not more correct to say that this clock is more precise and not more accurate?" On Facebook, Kyle Runge said a major problem with some cars is cameras where any mirrors we:
Why should we the cameras? How a mirror does not work very well like that? So now, instead of replace a cheap mirror, we spend hundreds to replace a device that fails?
You're right Kyle-if and when we have side-view cameras, breaking the car when we back up too quickly out of the garage is going to be a little more expensive. Not that this has never happened to any of us. But perhaps the cameras will help with that? Fingers crossed.
Then, of course, there were behind the Scarlet Johansson Falling Down even, which many of you were not fans of the backstory. In fact, some of you just really hate memes in general, it seems. Here is what we have to say on this subject:
Good end of week - and 'Game of Thrones' watch - everyone! Don't forget, winter can return, but the spring is supposed to be here every day, also. Finally.
